SM Stationery Art Fest 2018

Really thankful to SM Stationery for inviting me to the SM Stationery Art Fest 2018 since it’s been a while since I last attended anything art related. Calling all art enthusiasts; time to mark your calendars as your April is about to become your most colorful and shapeful month of the year yet! The #SMStationeryArtFest is happening at the G/F Concourse, SM Makati. The SM Stationery starts with a burst of colors and fun ARTivities for everyone beginning April 11 until the 15th, 2018.

I was really, really excited to attend the workshops when I saw the list of partner brands — Sakura, Faber Castell, Pilot, etc to name a few. I have been using these brands since college and I swear by the quality!

This is heaven!!! I didn’t even know there were this much available colors of the Sakura pens!

Koi pens are great for watercolor effect artworks. They blend quite well and pigment is A+ !

If you’ve been following me for quite some time now, you’d know I’m a huge fan of anything Japan and kawaii! Loved everything from Tokyo Finds and SM StationeryWhat I love most if the affordability of these items, hehe!

Super cute eco canvas bags!!! I think these were at Php 199 — not bad cause it has zipper and inner pocket!

Artline’s fun activity for the guests!

Checked out the participating brands stations before the workshop.

Sooo pretty!

Slime!!! This was the activity I was the most excited about, hehe.

Customizable notebooks are always a load of fun!

Another one of my fave brands — Faber Castell

Workshop time!

First up was Brush Pen Calligraphy by Carl Chua.

Script Lettering by Paolo Tugano

I realized I have no skill in calligraphy, huhu. I tried my best!
PS: The brush pens are reaaaallyyy good!

Oriental Pattern Collage by Ian De Jesus

I think I did pretty well??? What do you guys think?

My fave activity was definitely the Elmers Glue Crunchy Slime Time! by Teacher Jill.

I find this very therapeutic, lol.

The last one I participated in was Basics on Psychedelic Art by Evanna Chan

It’s actually the first time I’ve come across this art style and I find it very unique and  interesting.

Here are the details on how to join:

It’s a really fun experience I definitely recommend you participate with friends or family members for added fun 🙂
